A simple routine to care for your dog's teeth before problems develop

Bad breath is often the first thing you notice, but caring for your dog's mouth isn't just about wanting fresher breath. Plaque and food residue build up day after day, and when oral hygiene is constantly put off, what could have been a small everyday habit can become something much more difficult to manage.

This dog dental care kit is designed to make toothbrushing easier to start and, above all, practical enough to maintain.

In one pack, you'll find 100 g of toothpaste specifically formulated for dogs, a triple-headed toothbrush and two reusable silicone finger toothbrushes. There's no need to work out which tools to combine or buy everything separately: you can start with whichever option your dog tolerates best and gradually build your routine together.

The goal isn't perfectly clean teeth after a single use. It's something far more realistic and important: a dog who's comfortable having their mouth checked and their teeth brushed regularly, with oral care becoming part of everyday life rather than something you only think about when a problem appears.

From "I should brush my dog's teeth" to a routine you can actually maintain

Many dog owners know they should look after their dog's teeth. The difficulty is everything that comes next.

Which toothpaste? Which toothbrush? What if my dog won't open their mouth? What happens if they swallow the toothpaste? Do I need to rinse? It's easy to keep putting it off.

This kit makes things simpler by offering two different ways to brush.

The triple-headed toothbrush surrounds the tooth on three sides at once and is designed to make more thorough cleaning easier. The two silicone finger toothbrushes offer a more direct, controlled approach, particularly useful when your dog is still getting used to the sensation of having their teeth brushed.

You can start with whichever method feels most comfortable for both of you and switch to the other whenever needed.

Why Brush Your Dog's Teeth?

Dental chews and other products can play a role in your dog's oral care routine, but they don't automatically replace mechanical toothbrushing.

Regularly brushing the tooth surfaces can help remove food residue and plaque before they continue to build up, while the specially formulated toothpaste complements the routine and helps keep the mouth fresher.

It's not simply a solution for bad breath. It's a small preventive habit to incorporate into your dog's regular care, just like brushing their coat, checking their paws or cleaning their ears.

What's Included in the Kit?

Inside, you'll find everything you need to get started:

One 100 g dog toothpaste, formulated for use without rinsing.

One triple-headed toothbrush, designed to reach several tooth surfaces simultaneously.

Two reusable silicone finger toothbrushes, useful for more controlled cleaning and for approaching your dog's mouth in a less intrusive way.

It's this combination that makes the kit particularly useful: it doesn't force you to follow a single method. It allows you to discover what works best for your dog.

The Toothpaste

The formula contains sodium bicarbonate, peppermint oil, neem oil and grapeseed oil.

It's a toothpaste specifically formulated for dogs and can be swallowed during brushing, so no rinsing is required.

This is an important distinction: human toothpaste isn't a suitable alternative. Some formulations intended for people may contain ingredients that are unsuitable or dangerous for dogs, including xylitol. Any toothpaste used for your dog's oral hygiene should therefore be specifically formulated for them.

How to Start if You've Never Brushed Your Dog's Teeth

Don't begin by trying to clean their entire mouth during the first session. The most effective way to establish a routine is to make the experience predictable and gradual.

For the first introduction, put a small amount of toothpaste on your finger and allow your dog to become familiar with its taste and texture.

Once they're comfortable with it, you can move on to the finger toothbrush or the triple-headed toothbrush with a small amount of toothpaste, working slowly over the teeth without forcing their mouth open.

The manufacturer recommends brushing with gentle back-and-forth movements, allowing the three brush heads to surround the tooth. Once you've finished, simply rinse the toothbrush with water. The toothpaste doesn't need to be rinsed out of your dog's mouth.

The recommended frequency is 2–3 times per week. It's also recommended to avoid feeding your dog for approximately 30 minutes after brushing.

Triple-Headed Toothbrush or Finger Toothbrush?

Neither is universally better. It depends on your dog and the situation.

The triple-headed toothbrush is particularly useful when your dog is already relatively comfortable with toothbrushing. Its three brushing surfaces work around the tooth simultaneously, allowing for a more structured cleaning routine.

The finger toothbrush provides greater control over your hand movements and can make it easier to introduce your dog gradually to having their mouth cleaned, especially during the early stages.

You can also use both: the finger toothbrush for certain areas or quicker sessions, and the triple-headed toothbrush for a more thorough clean.

That's exactly why the kit includes both options.

"My Dog Will Never Let Me Brush Their Teeth"

This is probably one of the most common reasons for putting off oral care. But your dog doesn't need to accept a complete brushing session straight away.

Start with just a few seconds. Let them become familiar with the toothpaste, gently touch their muzzle, lift their lip, move your finger close to their teeth and then introduce the toothbrush.

For many dogs, becoming accustomed to the process makes more of a difference than the toothbrush itself.

If a session turns into a struggle, insisting won't make the cleaning more effective. It may simply make the next attempt even more difficult.

It's better to build a short routine that you can repeat consistently.

"Aren't Dental Chews Enough?"

They can be a useful addition, but if you're looking to establish a proper at-home oral hygiene routine, toothbrushing allows you to clean the tooth surfaces directly.

It's the difference between offering your dog something to chew and physically cleaning their teeth with a tool designed for that purpose.

That's why we don't see this dental care kit as an occasional alternative to dental chews, but as the foundation of a more considered oral care routine.

What if My Dog Already Has a Lot of Tartar?

It's important to distinguish everyday care from situations that require professional assessment.

Toothbrushing is useful for at-home maintenance and helping to prevent buildup over time, but it shouldn't be considered a substitute for a veterinary examination when significant tartar, very red gums, pain, bleeding, difficulty eating or noticeable changes in the mouth are already present.

In these cases, the answer isn't to brush harder. It's to speak to your vet, understand what's happening and then use at-home oral hygiene as part of your dog's ongoing care.

Is It Suitable for Puppies Too?

The kit is suitable for dogs of all ages and sizes, including puppies.

In fact, introducing the process gradually while your dog is young can be a good way to make mouth checks a normal part of their routine.

With a puppy, however, the initial goal should be familiarity rather than achieving a perfect clean. A few positive, repeatable seconds are worth more than a long session carried out by force.

Why We Chose It

Because some of the most useful products don't need to reinvent a routine. They simply need to make it easy enough to start and practical enough to continue.

Oral hygiene is one of those things many dog owners know they should take care of, but keep putting off because they don't have the right tools, their dog isn't used to the process or it seems more complicated than it should be.

This kit removes much of that difficulty. You already have a toothpaste formulated for dogs, a toothbrush designed to clean several tooth surfaces and two finger toothbrushes for a more gradual introduction.

One kit, two brushing methods and a routine you can adapt to your dog.
