When the problem isn't just shedding, but everything that builds up beforehand
When you share your home with a pet, the problem is rarely just the fur left on the sofa.
First come the small tangles, trapped undercoat, dust collected during walks and that feeling of a coat that's less tidy, less soft and less shiny.
This double-sided grooming brush for dogs and cats is designed to manage both stages of the grooming routine with a single tool: first detangling and removing loose hair, then smoothing and polishing the coat.
One side works deep into the coat. The other provides the finishing touch.
This way, brushing stops being a battle against tangles and dead hair and becomes a simpler, more regular and enjoyable routine.
Two sides, two different purposes
The strength of this brush lies in the fact that you don't always have to use it in the same way.
One side works on the surface, while the other reaches deeper into the coat. You can adapt your brushing technique to the type of fur, the area of the body and what your dog or cat needs at that particular moment.
The natural tampico fibre side
This is the softer side, designed to remove dust, surface impurities and loose hair while gently brushing the coat and skin.
The natural tampico fibres make it particularly suitable for frequent brushing, short coats and animals that don't enjoy overly stiff brushes.
For a short-haired dog, this may become the side you use most often: it helps collect loose hair, remove dust accumulated during walks and keep the coat tidy without needing to work deep into the fur.
It's also a good starting point for puppies and sensitive animals. Slow movements and gentle pressure allow you to introduce grooming gradually, turning it into a familiar experience rather than something your pet has to endure.
The metal pin side
This side is useful when you need to go beyond the surface.
The pins, mounted on a flexible base, help separate the hair, reach deeper layers of the coat and gently work through small tangles. This makes it particularly useful for medium, long, thick or tangle-prone coats.
Work in small sections, following the natural direction of hair growth, rather than trying to brush through the entire coat in one stroke.
If you encounter a stubborn tangle, avoid pulling. Gently separate it with your fingers and work through it gradually.
Is it suitable for my dog or cat?
Yes, the brush can be used on all coat types. What changes is mainly how you use each side.
On a short coat, you'll probably use the tampico fibres most often to remove dust and loose hair and maintain a tidy coat with regular brushing.
For medium, long or thicker coats, you can alternate between the soft side and the metal pins: first work through the deeper layers and any small tangles, then finish brushing with the plant-based fibres.
The same principle applies to cats. The most suitable side depends on the length and density of their coat, as well as their individual sensitivity.
There's no single correct way to use it. It's precisely the ability to adapt your brushing technique to the coat in front of you that makes it more versatile than a single-purpose brush.
How to Use It Properly
Start with the metal pin side and brush in the direction of hair growth, using short, controlled strokes.
There's no need to apply pressure. The flexible base is specifically designed to follow your movements and make contact more comfortable.
Once the coat is detangled, turn the brush over and use the tampico side on the same areas with broader, lighter strokes.
This second stage helps remove loose hair and dust while giving the coat a smoother, more even finish.
On sensitive areas, such as the belly, inner thighs or behind the ears, reduce the pressure and work slowly.
If your dog or cat doesn't enjoy being brushed, start with short sessions. Two calm minutes today are better than ten minutes of struggling that will make the next grooming session even more difficult.
Grooming shouldn't become a battle
A brush truly works when you can use it regularly.
Waiting until the coat is full of dead hair or significant tangles have already formed means making each session longer and potentially more uncomfortable.
A few minutes at a time, on the other hand, help keep the coat more manageable, reduce the amount of fur that ends up on sofas and fabrics, and allow you to check your pet's skin and coat more frequently.
With the right side and a gradual approach, brushing can simply become part of your everyday routine together.

Why We Chose It
Because a good brush should adapt to the coat, rather than forcing you to own a different accessory for every need.
What convinced us most was the genuine versatility of its two sides: the natural tampico fibres are suitable for everyday care, removing dust and loose hair, and for shorter or more sensitive coats. The metal pins come into play when you need to work deeper into medium, long or tangle-prone coats.
This means you can use a single tool at different stages of your grooming routine, without filling your home with accessories that do almost the same thing.
We also appreciate the choice of materials: FSC-certified wood, plant-based fibres and plant-based latex, the plastic-free construction and European manufacturing.
