Hemp Rope is made from 100% natural hemp rope, a renewable and biodegradable plant fibre. The manufacturer also states that the fibre used is free from herbicides and harmful chemicals.

Choosing a toy made entirely from natural fibres means, above all, avoiding plastic in an object designed to be chewed and worn over time. As a synthetic toy wears down, it can release fragments of the material it's made from. With this rope, however, the material your dog handles is hemp, not plastic.

Of course, this doesn't mean the fibres are edible. As with any rope toy, if you notice heavily frayed sections or loose strands, remove them and check the product's condition regularly. Rope toys are best used during supervised play to help prevent loose fibres from being swallowed.

Thick, substantial and made for real play

The rope is 20 mm thick and weighs approximately 250 g.
