Five toys, three different ways to keep your cat curious

A cat can have a basket full of toys and still get bored. Often, it's not about the number of toys, but the variety of stimulation they offer.

This set brings together five natural wool toys designed to let your cat play in different ways: three balls to chase and bat with their paws, a mouse to hunt and carry around, and a catnip-filled cushion to grab, nibble and cuddle. This gives your cat the freedom to choose what interests them at any given moment.

A small assortment that can make time spent indoors more engaging without filling your home with electronic toys, plastic and bright colours.

Why will your cat love it?

Because each element of the set stimulates a different aspect of your cat's natural play behaviour.

The balls, approximately 3.5 cm in diameter, roll and change direction when tapped with a paw, encouraging your cat to chase them.

The mouse, with its long tail and a total length of approximately 35 cm, resembles a small prey animal that your cat can chase, grab and drag around.

The wool felt cushion, measuring approximately 9 × 8 cm, contains catnip, adding an olfactory element to playtime. For cats that respond to this stimulus, its scent can increase interest and encourage behaviours such as rolling, grabbing, nibbling and playing. Not all cats react to catnip in the same way, and that's completely normal.

This variety also has a practical advantage: you can rotate the toys rather than leaving them all available at once, reintroducing them after a few days to help maintain your cat's curiosity.

More stimulation for an indoor cat

Indoor life can be safe and comfortable, but also very predictable. Cats still need to chase, explore, grab and use both their bodies and minds.

This set makes it easy to create small opportunities for play throughout the day: you can roll a ball down the hallway, hide the mouse behind a piece of furniture or let your cat discover the catnip cushion on their own.

Materials and Production

This set is made from natural wool, wool felt and catnip. It's a choice that matters particularly for toys designed to spend so much time between your cat's teeth, claws and paws.

You're not giving your cat a rigid plastic toy that can become scratched, deteriorate and lose small pieces during play. Wool provides a soft, lightweight and quiet surface that's pleasant to grip and particularly suitable for indoor play.

Of course, this doesn't mean wool is intended to be swallowed. Always check the condition of the toys regularly and replace them if your cat manages to tear off substantial pieces.

The set is made in Latvia by a small family-run business that crafts its products individually in its own workshop, focusing on natural materials such as wool and hemp.

The handmade process means that shapes and dimensions may vary slightly from one piece to another.

How to Care for Your Wool Toys

Wool doesn't need to be washed frequently. If the balls and mouse simply collect some fur or dust, removing it by hand is often enough.

For the balls and mouse, when a more thorough clean is needed:

Washing: Hand wash in lukewarm water, approximately 30°C, using a small amount of mild detergent suitable for wool.

During washing: Gently move the toys through the water without rubbing, twisting or wringing them.

Rinsing: Rinse with water at a similar temperature and press gently to remove excess water.

Reshaping: While they're still damp, you can gently reshape the mouse and restore the balls' round shape by rolling them between the palms of your hands.

Drying: Leave them to air dry completely on a flat surface, away from radiators and direct heat sources. Avoid tumble drying.

What about the catnip cushion?

This requires a different approach to cleaning.

We don't recommend immersing it in water or washing it in a washing machine, as it contains catnip directly inside. Catnip toys are generally spot-cleaned with a slightly damp cloth and left to air dry completely. Avoiding immersion also helps preserve the volatile aromatic compounds responsible for attracting your cat's interest for longer.

To help retain its scent, you can also store it in a tightly sealed container or bag when it's not in use.

Why We Chose It

We love this set because it uses natural materials, is handmade in Europe and doesn't rely on artificial features to make playtime interesting.

Above all, it meets a real need for cats: having different forms of stimulation to chase, hunt, grab and play, even when living indoors.

Five different toys also mean you can rotate them and keep them engaging for longer as part of your cat's routine, rather than constantly adding new objects to the basket whenever your cat loses interest.
